This design was conceived and executed to test Very high current SOT devices.  It operates above 800 amps for pulsed current and 400 amps continuous current. This contactor technology is ideal for IGBT and GaN devices. It uses Signal Integrity High current E5533 Pd Alloy spring probes for compliance and is in High volume production integrated into a socket built for a turret handler.
